Spaghetti Events

[AZ BU Fan]

With the new Renaissance Coliseum, surely there are dates available for spaghetti supper-like events right on campus. This should be a yearly event again.

RC would be a great location for the pre season "Spaghetti" kick off banquet.....More central than ITOO Hall and easier to get too for downtown folks after work. Easier for players and coaches to get to after practice.....

Suggest one night for fans, another night for just BU students (students always looking for cheap eats)....

You have the new practice facilites to show off, the new court to show off, the new "hall of fame" room to show off...Could do FT contest, longest shot contest on the Arena Court...

Heck, I bet local Italian place would donate food for the event along with a local chicken joint to keep food price down/raise money for BU.

My only complaint, I am not in Peoria anymore to enjoy this event....

PS Bonus fund raising idea....sell seat back name plates at the RC arena, like the BU theater does for their donors...

They tried this with the chilli supper and the tables were spread out all over the place , it was hard to tell if many people had any of the chilli, just guessing but I do not think the RC can have special eating events unless they can put a special cover on the floor and setup tables on it which is why the Itoo makes more sense.
