  • Geno Ford throws a strike in throwing out first pitch at Wrigley Field

Geno Ford throws out first pitch at Wrigley Field today.-

Coach Ford will not be singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the 7th inning. It is scheduled to be Cubs' radio broadcaster Pat Hughes.

The flubs should reschedule him for a later date. No way to treat Pete's coach.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

This was disappointing - not disappointing like blowing good leads near the end of the game, but I was looking f/w to him talking BU hoops during the last half of the 7th inning and hearing his vocals.

On top of that, the Cubs broke their 7-game win streak...bummer.

Jim Rea shot some video at the game today and we should be able to get it posted on BradleyBraves.com tomorrow. Busy day, though, getting ready for the Bradley Braves Community Night event in Pekin.

On another note, Dr. Cross and women's basketball head coach Paula Buscher will be guests on the Greg and Dan Show tomorrow morning (7:45) on 1470 WMBD.

Geno threw a pretty good strike, huh...

Hopefully the Cubs won't throw millions of dollars at him to pitch for them!

Way to go Geno. Much better form than our Commander-In-Chief. Maybe some day you can repeat your performance at his home park ... Kaminsky Field.
