I can't imagine very many people dislike Jim as a person. What I see are two factions (the Jim Les haters and the Jim Les apologists) that greatly exaggerate the actions of the others. I feel like most people were just really dissatisfied with the results of the team during his tenure. Obviously, his skill and philosophies as a head coach are debatable, and fair or not poor performance due to injury will still get a coach fired.
