  • New JuCo recruits

Keep checking the Recruiting Board as over the next couple days I will be posting names and information about several new recruits that Bradley coaches are following. Here is the first name-

    Nick Wiggins-

Several of the BU coaches were in St. Charles, Missouri at Lindenwood University this past weekend to watch many of the top junior college players in the country at Jerry Mullens' Junior College Showcase event.

They are also continuing to follow a number of 2012 and 2013 high school kids at various events. They will be present in Milwaukee this week at an AAU event to watch several high school players they are following, including Nathan Taphorn, Peyton Allen, Jeff White, Alex Foster, and Alvin Ellis.

      Thanks for the updates DC!

Keeps us coming back for more - little nuggets of info. in the long wait until the 1st practice for the Braves.

This is the longest off-season wait I can remember.

Thanks. I know Bradley fans like to keep up with what is happening over the summers. I have been digging to find information about who we are looking at and recruiting. I'll have more later today about a couple more kids, so stay tuned.

Here is one more "new" name, but it is not really a new name.
Michael Haynes was recruited by Bradley back in 2008-2009 when he was a high schooler in Chicago. He is now at Indian Hills CC in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Bradley was in contact with him this past weekend at the Jerry Mullens Junior College Showcase in St. Charles, Missouri, and will be following him.

          More info on Michael Haynes-

Here is an old thread we had about him-

I don't know why the PJS doesn't make you a 'stringer' for their sports department. Your BU insider reporting is great.

            Thanks...

Thanks for the compliment, I think.
I can't tell if your avatar is giving me a subliminal middle finger salute, or just a picture of the great Arizona outdoors.

Here is one more name that surfaced from our coaches watching the top junior college kids at the Jerry Mullens JuCo Showcase this past weekend-

                Coty Clarke-

There is not a lot of information available about Coty Clarke, or about many of these juco kids. If anyone comes across anything else useful, let us know.

You're very welcome DC. First to recognize and comment on my new avatar...

The beauty of my cactus avatar is it can go either way depending on my posts: great Arizona outdoors, or, the subliminal saguaro middle finger salute.

In this case, it represents the great Arizona outdoors, for the best BU insider poster on the Forum.

Now if the thread was about a more controversial subject, or my response to a more inflammatory post, well.......
