Wow, where were all those people saying BU played fair and the administration was doing this right? We won't pay our former coach? Won't buy-out our current coach? No other school seem to not understand the rules... Bradley's handling of this whole thing is Busch-League and embarrassing.

Wow, I was hoping this issue had been taken care of already. I just hope the situation can be taken care of without legal action and both Coach Les and Bradley can move forward in a positive direction.
If you cant go to school go to STATE!!

I agree amckillip. This is all just very sad and depressing. Come on Bradley! Do the right thing!

Very much agree with both of your posts! GO GET EM JIMMY!
              Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

This makes Bradley look pretty pathetic - if more came out about the other things briefly mentioned in this report, we'd look even worse...

What an embarassment this is to the University.
Do the right thing and pay Jimmy what you owe him. I hope Geno stays a long time. When this gets out who'd want to work for these people. I sure as the H-ll wouldn't.

                          By the way-

We welcome Bradley's side of this story, and I expect we will be hearing from them soon.

We have obtained a copy of the letter Coach Les sent to the members of the Bradley Board of Trustees. I expect the letter to become public soon, and I am surprised it hasn't already.

But out of respect for both sides in this dispute, we will not be posting it here.
If any member would like to know what it says, send me a PM.

And if anyone is interested in how this all became public, I can answer that, too. It was not Coach Les who alerted ESPN or the media. In fact, he tried everything he could to keep this private.

Are you kidding me? This is just bush league on Bradley's part. They are the ones who fired Jim with 3 years left on his contract. Whatever it takes to get this taken care needs to get taken care of now. Just another misstep by this administration. How many more of these situations have to happen before the board of trustees takes a closer look at how business is conducted.
