Jim Les hires another assistant coach at UC Davis

Jim Les continues to fill his staff at UC Davis. He retained one of the assistant coaches from the former staff, Kevin Nosek .
Now the latest hire is Chris Davis-

Chris Davis was an assistant coach at Drake under both Tom Davis and Kerno Davis. He moved to Providence and remained an assistant under Keno Davis at Providence College.

He has been in college coaching for 25 years, including stops at Western Michigan, Kent State, . Here is his full bio-

Les has filled up his staff. He has hired Gus Argenal as the other assitant and Duane Kouba will remain as the volunteer assistant/DBO. Kouba has been the Director of Basketball Operations for a long time at Davis, and the upside to having him is that it doesn't cost the program any money. He is a math lecturer, so his salary isn't paid through the athletic department.

I have heard that the job was offered to Kyle Vogt, and Kyle gave it a lot of thought. But Kyle now has another good job outside of coaching, and family considerations caused him to turn the offer down.
