Former Illini guard Deron Williams, who now plays for the New Jersey Nets, says he will play in Turkey next season, if the NBA lockout is not resolved.-

This would be extremely foolish and high risk if he signs that contract and plays overseas...... His agent should be ashamed for giving him this advice and allowing it to happen.

Deron needs to keep his profile up since, more then likely, he will be a free agent after next season (if there is a season.) This is certainly one way to do it, but idk if it's the right way.

He has as good a chance getting injured there then if he were playing in the NBA , playing at a gym during or walking around his house so I don't see that as big deal.

This league has better talent and plays better basketball then any other Euro league, or NCAA bball for that matter, so if you have to play somewhere....
