Very nice lady. Talked with her for some Scout articles and such, really down to earth and was a very good asset to Bradley.

not only nice - but extremely beneficial and good for Bradley -- this is a real loss for BU..but you can't blame her for wanting to find a position at a top institution back where she was from...

Virnette was a great member of that staff. I spent some time working with her while at BU and it was evident that she always knew what was going on all around the department.

After she wasn't moved to the top spot after performing the interim tag, I think we all knew this was short-lived until she could find the right area. Just my opinion... it's what I'd be doing.

Virnette is going to be sorely missed at BU. It's a shame that she wasn't given the opportunity to be the AD permantely. In the few times I had to talk with her I found that she had a real passion for BU and especially for the student/athletes. I know she'll do a great job at Cleveland State. We'll miss you VHB!

I hope Virnette knows how much she was appreciated by fans and students...as so many of the nice comments about her and her performance here show...

And as is always the case when someone leaves a department -- the news release of her leaving should highlight her accomplishments and her value to the department and how much she'll be missed.

I have read and re-read the BU release and I think it's important to highlight all the accolades given to Virnette by the Bradley AD...

relationships during her time at Bradley, and I wish her every success in the
future. This is a wonderful opportunity for her to move closer to family and
simultaneously take a significant step forward in her career.???
