Former 5-Star recruit goes D-II

Karron Johnson was a national Top 10 recruit and 5-Star who went to Oklahoma State...
He was an NBA talent and was said by some to be the best forward in the nation besides Michael Beasley.

Then the behavior issues started -- he got booted from his high school, then booted from his prep school, then another prep school - three in all --
Then he got booted from Oklahoma State...getting a few arrests along the way...link

Then he bounced around at several jucos, Midland, Moberly Area, getting booted at every place he went, and then re-committed to Oklahoma State when despite hardly playing in junior college he was ranked the #1 juco player...averaging 22 ppg, 9 rebs at Moberly...but he never finished juco -
So now he's going to D-II Shaw University in North Carolina

Here's yet another tremendous riches to rags story --
John Riek -- who was rated the #1 player in the entire nation back in 2008-- has now failed at the D-I level and is headed to D-II hoping to finish his career out against competition that doesn't overwhelm him.

Early rumor/indication is that John Riek is headed to University of Southern Indiana where Kenyon Smith, Ryan Hare, and other ex-D-I guys are...although ex-Saluki Nick Evans appears to now be booted from USI...
