The BU ladies held on to beat Chicago State 67 ???‚¬??? 60 this afternoon. Bradley built up a 17 point lead in the first half only to see the Cougars get within 2 at 57 ???‚¬??? 55. Erika Nelson led the scoring with 16. Devyn Flanagan with 15 and Kelly Krumwiede with 14 were also in double figures. Amy Peters and Jen Brown with 8 each were close behind. Bradley missed too many easy shots close to the basket for my nerves, but a win is a win.

The officials have really been calling carrying the ball on the men this year, but not so with the women. Chicago State carried it at will.

Good to see Brandyn Heemskerk at the game.

        Devyn can flat out play!

People should go and check the ladies out. They have a good bunch of players. The games are in the Fieldhouse in it's final full season (I think).

Plus, some of the Men's players show up - kids (and adults) could approach them for an autograph or two.
