  • Former NCAA Runner-up Beat by In-State Directional School

Utah lost to S Utah 76-73.

I know it seems like a long time ago when the 'Comeback Cats' beat Utah in the National Championship.

I know Squirrel will tell me how actually S Utah could be better than most MVC schools this season - a team to keep an eye on and a sleeper.

Just a warning to UIUC fans....

The road of mediocrity isn't too far off the beaten path from the Elite status they believe they belong in.

I would never go that far Macabre, although the Mid-Con has two nice wins away from home (Utah and neutral vs. St. Bonnie--who should be significantly better this year) already this season.

And I would never suggest that a Mid-Con school other than ORU or Valpo could even compete in the MVC.
