Brett Bisping of Morton is also be making an unofficial visit to campus today. After meeting with coaches and touring the facilities, he and Tanner Williams will participate later this afternoon in an open gym with some of the Bradley players. The coaches will not be present when players scrimmage.

As many fans know, Brett Bisping is from Morton, and is the brother of BU women's player Brooke Bisping. Brett is 6'8" and a good shooter, and well as possessing a very good all-around game. He averaged 15.6 ppg as a junior at Morton, and was honorable mention Class 3A-4A All-State.
Here is a YouTube video of Brett (warning, you may want to turn your volumn down)-

And a nice article about him from the Pekin Times-

TW was very impressive in the video-looks like he has BB smarts and is a very good shooter-6'6 and can handle the ball and shoot-what more can we ask for (maybe defense-lol)

Most of us already know about BB and IMO he would bring some nice size in the middle.

They wouldn't be bad pick ups although IMO TW will be a top player in the future

No commitment to report from the recruits visiting today. I assume we will continue to follow them.

Have we heard whether there have even been offers made yet?

From Dave Reynolds column - Pretty interesting.

summer breeze: Kudos to the Richwoods staff for pulling off yet another flawless shootout last weekend, this time also overcoming a power outage Sunday morning. ... Because of conflicts with AAU events, the A.J. Guyton River City Hoops Festival has moved up a month from July. The event is set for the weekend of June 25-26. ... After watching the Bradley Braves scrimmage twice this week, there??™s not much doubt that freshman Shayok Shayok will be a key contributor this season. The 6-6, 200-pound native of Ottawa, Ontario, who played last season at Florida??™s IMG Academy prep school, is a versatile wing forward who seems equally comfortable on the perimeter or on the blocks. He uses both hands well and has a particularly strong left-handed drive to the hole. Shayok is also a hard worker, beating everybody to the gym most early mornings for extra shooting. ... The scrimmages, minus injured mainstays Will Egolf, Taylor Brown and Jordan Prosser, have been hotly contested. ... Freshman guard Jalen Crawford has recorded a team-best 431/2-inch vertical leap. ... No date set yet for Egolf??™s ACL knee surgery.

Dave Reynolds can be reached at 686-3210 or at dreynolds@pjstar.com

This was somewhat expected - but Tanner Williams, BU basketball recruit from Orion, IL
has now officially verbaled to Brewster Academy (prep school) for next year...
The story says he had six offers from 4-year colleges, two were D-I (South Dakota State and Missouri State) and four were top level D-II's

Bisping, as most know, is going to Siena
"Morton senior Brett Bisping is averaging 18.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and shooting .570 from the field in Mid-Illini games."
