  • "Midwest Flames" hold tryouts, few former Bradley players are trying out...

Including Daniel Ruffin and Matt Salley. Also not from Bradley is Josh Edmonds, and even though the video does not mention it, I believe Egolf's brother is trying out for the team also. Anyways, heres the link with the video...

The Renaissance Coliseum? Really? That'd be pretty sweet, and I might go to those. I would have thought the rent might be a little much for a team like that.

AJ Guyton is asking everyone to like the Midwest Flames facebook page. The more likes the get, the better it gets for them and the more people hear about it. So if you have a facebook and haven't liked them yet, be sure to do so.

                  Holding up

I have a hard time believing that this will last. How many can they really draw when they will be competing with Bradley and the Rivermen?
Well let me just quote the late-great Colonel Sanders, who said..."I'm too drunk to taste this chicken."

If they price it cheaply and have some Peoria-based players on the roster, might not do too badly. I'd pay 5 bucks to watch.

I plan to go to every home game, especially if it's two blocks from my off campus house like it sounds. But I also plan to be able to talk to people sitting on the opposite of the gym by only raising my voice a wee bit.
