  • Rumor: Evansville about to land transfer from Indiana

Nothing confirmed but rumor that Bobby Capobianco - who was Creaned from the roster at Indiana so they could go after Remy Abell
-- could be transferring to Evansville. He won't be able to play until 2012-2013 --
He might be quite good at the midmajor level but you never know --
Evansville landed a similar player a couple years ago that was a highly touted transfer, Brian Bouchie --
He was said to be their best player...
But it didn't work out so well-

... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!

As soon as Capobianco gets to Valpo he gives an interview that looks like he's kinda taking a swipe at his old coach at IU....but also he looks like he didn't want to be a team player and do what he was asked to do...

"Setting screens and limited court time led former Indiana University
forward Bobby Capobianco to seek a transfer...
...I'm a really loyal guy and really enjoyed my time in Bloomington," Capobianco
said. "But for me to get the most out of my basketball career and myself,
        making a move was necessary."
... I can get out and shoot the ball a lot," Capobianco said. "I can shoot the 3,
but I wasn't necessarily encouraged to take too many 3-pointers at
Indiana. I was busy setting a lot of ball screens.
"I'm excited to play at Valpo and for a coach who empowers me and gives me
the opportunity and confidence to be the player I am and not restrict me."
