The Golden State Warriors have named Mark Jackson as their new head coach-
Jackson was an outstanding point guard in the NBA from 1987-2004. His best years were with the Knicks and Pacers.
Here is a little known Bradley connection- a year ago, Jim Les quietly recruited Mark Jackson's son, Mark Jackson, Jr., a pretty good high school guard at Woodland Hills, California, Taft High School. He was under the radar because eligibility issues caused him to miss most of his senior season. Coach Les never did extend a scholarship offer to him as he held out hope of signing Michael Ochereobia, and Jackson eventually decided to walk-on at Louisville, where he red-shirted this past season and did not play.
