  • Freshman You Expect to Get the Most PT?

Based on conversations in the "freshman you're most excited about" poll, decided to put one up for who you think will get the most minutes in their freshman season.

I will leave Wells in here, though the assumption is he will redshirt, so his minutes may not be the highest

    Jalen Crawford
    8.33%
    4
    Devon Hodges
    16.67%

    Shayok Shayok

    Donivine Stewart

    Nate Wells

I picked Devon Hodges, mainly because we will need inside help next year and rebounding, and Devon is the only one of the incoming guys who can give us 15+ minites as an inside player.

      Either Donivine or Crawford.

BU will struggle to score if DSE plays a majority of the PG minutes, and Sammy left Geno is a bit of a bind at the 1.

I took Crawford, because I saw some things from DS down the stretch that showed a similar player to what I saw 2 years ago.

I voted DS because I think his is more a need than the others, which worries me a little because I am not as high on him as others here are. I think Crawford has more potential as do the forwards.

DS because we need a pure point guard and he can play that role as a backup. The real question is who will be the 9-10 guys that will play? I expect to see as much running from this team as the Albeck teams.

            Then who starts? DSE?

Bradley excelled last season with DSE off the ball.

I honestly hope SS or DH forces themselves into the line-up so WE will only be required to give us 15 or so a night.

no big surprise, i'm a ds fan, and although i voted for him i still predict his best stat line from bu will be his assists. his basketball iq is very high and he is a great passer and see's the floor like les and ruffin did.
Lets surrender ..... Chesty Puller.... "H*$$ NO !!! we have the enemy right where we want them they can't hide"

I hope he sees the court better than Ruff. Ruff's senior season was a huge letdown IMO, he became a score first PG and threw up some absolutely ugly late game shots. He quit trusting his teammates, and then missed the shots himself.

Having watched Crawford on tape I believe he has the talent to play a lot of minutes as a freshman, he appears to be a good shooter and also a great passer, I also like the fact he has a jump shot which gives him a better chance to make the 12 to 15 ft. shots off the dribble.

I'm excited to potentially see 9-10 guys play every night and I hope that can happen effectively. That being said, I picked Crawford.
