Peoria Notre Dame's David Molinari commits to IWU

Guard David Molinari, who played last year at Peoria Notre Dame HS has committed to play next year at Illinois Wesleyan University. He played his first 3 years at Peoria Christian HS. Many expected David Molinari to join brother Billy who plays for his father at Western Illinois. Instead he will play at IWU where his father was a star guard a few years ago.
Molinari's teammate at PND, Drew Blumenshine, will also play at Illinois Wesleyan next year. IWU's 8-man recruiting class also includes Randy Azuogu from Scottsdale, Ariz., Josh Wiggs of Woodlawn, Dylan Overstreet and Brandon Heyen of Paxton-Buckley-Loda, Connor Wheeler of DuQuoin, and Parker Musselman of Normal Community.

Delavan's Brady & Jordan Zimmer.

A little extra news -- Matt Roth's little brother at Washington HS, Mark Roth commits to play baskletball for the Augustana Vikings (Rock Island, IL),
as does Jordan Prosser's little brother from Eureka, Josh Prosser....

Congrats David!... That youngman has some of the best defensive skills I have seen..its like he reads the offensive players mind...he shuold have a fine career at IWU...

Just a note on Coach Mo's youngest son, David...now at Illinois Wesleyan..

IWU rarely uses many freshmen but D-Mo is getting significant PT - only 3 mpg les than the team leader
..... David Molinari is regularly the first off the bench and their 6th man...
He is averaging 6 ppg, 3.2 apg, and hitting 50% of his shots in 19 minutes per game..
He is also 2nd on the team in FT attempted, assists per game and total assists, and leads the team in FT's made...
