Any insight as to why western doesn't really compete in their league? Looks like season win totals of 8,13,5 for the last three years?

Jim made progress between year one and two, but his 3rd season was hampered by many injuries. 7 of his players missed time with significant injuries, and 5 players were lost to season-ending injuries, most of them starters, including his leading scorer and his leading rebounder.

Dub -- Da Coach hit it on the head -- but thankfully for Mo, the Macomb press and the WIU fans see clearly and aren't on the school to run Mo out of town...
..the win totals in 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 are fully the result of the state of the program the former coach left when MO took over...although Mo was making good progress...

Last year's poor record reflects major injuries to just about every player on the roster...including the entire season lost by Ceola Clark -- preseason All Conference and WIU's best player..
