Four Bradley Teams Receive APR Recognition

INDIANAPOLIS ? Four Bradley University intercollegiate athletic teams were recognized by the NCAA Tuesday for posting a multiyear Academic Progress Rate (APR) among the top 10 percent in the country for their respective sports. Bradley's four team Public Recognition Awards are tied for the most for any school in the Missouri Valley Conference and the school's 10 team awards the past two years are the most for any Valley member.

Congratulations to all the athletes, but special recognition to the 4 teams whos APR was in the top 10% nationally-
Women's tennis, women's tennis, women's cross country, and men's cross country.

Bradley's four team Public Recognition Awards are tied for the most for any school in the Missouri Valley Conference and the school's 10 team awards the past two years are the most for any Valley member.

In addition to the APR success, Bradley also ranked second both in The Valley and among the Division I schools in the state of Illinois by graduating its student-athletes at a 94 percent rate, according to the figures released by the NCAA in October.

New NCAA Academic data Good news again for Bradley!

The NCAA has begun releasing new academic data and APR's....
the full report will be out in about a week -- Latest APR Report

First they are releasing just those schools teams that earn special recognition for excellence...

    NCAA APR Public Recognition Awards

These are TEAM APR scores of 977 or better (the TOP 10% in their sport!)

Among Valley schools...NO school does better than Bradley!

Among other Valley schools Creighton and Evansville also landed four teams on this list, Drake & SIU landed 3 teams, UNI and ISU landed two teams, InSU and WSU one each and Missouri State didn't have any of their programs make the cut.

Congrats to Bradley and other Valley high achievers.....and keep up the good work
