Drake picks up commitment from 2012 point guard

Drake just got a commitment from Micah Mason, a 6-2 guard from near Pittsburgh (class of 2012)

Mason averaged 34 ppg as a junior this season, and had a game where he scored 64 points on only 19 shots (17-19 from the field, 7-7 from 3-pt and 23-24 from the line).

Micah Mason is a 6'2" point guard from Highlands High School in Natrona Heights, PA (near Pittsburgh). He will be a senior next season (class of 2012).

According to Scout.com, he chose Drake over offers from Colgate and Duquesne. He committed after visiting this past weekend. He is known mostly as a good shooter, and scored 64 points in one game this past season.
