there are more than one recruit in play here -- so I doubt any ISU fan would know them all
How many open spots does geno have? is someone getting janked?

Ah yes. I forgot that the SH situation was a foregone conclusion.

the SH and SM situation weren't kids getting janked...
those were kids janking back....
I understand that.

Hopefully, you are right. Looks like a good player and he had verballed to a pretty good school, so his talent must be pretty good, too. I like it!
He had a couple other nice schools looking at him as well. I'd be quite happy with this.....now let's get a shooter!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
So you don't remember the many games we played almost half the game with 4 guards at once?? I DO consider JE a guard.
Granted - we went to primarily 3 guards near the end of the season, but it took a while.
We started 2 forwards in 24 of our 32 games, or 75%... and JP was injured in two of those. For losing our best forward, that's hardly switching near the end of the season. It's not a huge deal, but we played a similar lineup to most of the MVC.

Agreed, we played 4 guards a lot of the time, and yes, JE is a guard in my book. Will got in foul trouble a lot and when that happened JP was our only true big on the floor during those times. Sure if BU would have had Taylor Brown available things may have been different, but I really think that his time would have taken away from JP's time and 4 guards would have still played quite a lot (not the whole game) together making us very small for probably 15 minutes or so each game. It is my hope that our new coach does not like playing 3-4 guards as much as our previous two coaches. (Mo did not play much with 4 guards, but he did play a lot of the time with 3). Gotta get back to work. Have a great day BU fans.
Im not sure why we think that playing a 3 or 4 guard system was the choice of either Mo or JL. I think they were forced to pay that because of the players we had. I also think that Geno's approach is different and thats why we should be succesful. If im not mistaken, the attitude i see developing is, if we can't get the 2-3 bigs to pound with them, but we can get fast athletic guys that are 6'3-to 6'6 that will run their butts off. I think thats the key to mid major success. Picture a team with 3 guys like boogie, chris roberts or on the floor all the time. I really liked JL, and he will be missed but let me just say I support the BU coach and I think Geno is going to get it going fast.
Lets surrender ..... Chesty Puller.... "H*$$ NO !!! we have the enemy right where we want them they can't hide"
