Great news. Welcome to Bradley! Not that twitter isn't official or anything..
    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I'm really interested to get a scouting report on this kid. I'm really interested to see what kind of shooter/ball handler he is and also what kind of student he is. Welcome to Bradley Jalen!

there really isn't much as he's flown "under the radar"...but it doesn't mean he won't be a good player -- by many reports he's a bit like Walt lemon in athleticism and speed.....and like Walt -- was not seen much on the AAU scene and was not listed nor ranked by many observers/gurus.

As we have with many recruits -- we are taking a bit of a chance because nobody knows what will happen, but he has the tools to develop into an Antoine Young/Dwayne Lathan caliber player...kids that are skilled in several aspects.

Another kid who may be a bit similar to Jalen as a late bloomer is Darius Johnson-Odom, a kid that Jim les recruited and who now plays at Marquette and was recruited by Bradley. He was a full qualifier but despite a good senior year in high school, he got no offers. So he went to the Patterson Prep School in North Carolina and had a pretty good year. But the only offers he got were from Bradley and a couple other lower midmajors. He thought he could do better, so he decided to go to a junior college and hope to get better offers. He spent 1 year at Hutchinson Junior College in Kansas, and developed into a JC All-American and Freshman POY his freshman year. From there he got much bigger and better offers and landed at Marquette, where he developed into an All Big-East second team after his junior year. Pretty impressive for a kid who had no offers out of high school.
Darius Johnson-Odom, but the potential is there.
