I like the guys that want to be a Brave and I'll put my positive energy on them! Go Braves!
Amen SFP! I hope Abell rides the pine and has a lousy career. Pretty stupid on Crean's part to over-hype a guy who's never played one minute of college ball.
Go BU! I like Crawford and Shayok as guard and wing better than Abell anyway....... And I predict one of them will have a better career than old what's his name.

I won't ignore the Remy situation, but my positive energy will be with the Braves this year.

well Crean is only revealing this now -- but if you recall -- by late last SUMMER Remy decided he wanted to go to Bradley and saw it as a better option than Indiana and so he popped for BU...
Once JL left, then he definitely saw things differently and settled for his 2nd choice...
well I was just giving you a hard time. I don't remember Indiana as offering then but maybe they did and it wasn't reported...

I really do not care if I hear about him again and if that means a very average career then so be it. Too many good guys on this BU team to even waste a second longer on this guy! I'll watch for SM over Remy any day of the week and when Illinois plays Indiana I hope SM schools him.

Remy must have really been smitten with JL and BU/MVC....over Crean and IU/B10 if he had offers from both.
Hard to believe BU/MVC would be higher up on RA's list than IU/Big 10 (absent JL)...
So, if RA was just so incredibly hot just for JL, hard to believe he didn't follow JL out West.
Yawn...Guess I'll go back to sleep and keep dreaming RA and his family/posse didn't feel like they had won the lottery when JL's departure gave them the perfect excuse to move up when his profile moved up without penalty from the NCAA.
AZ, your logic is rather distorted, but we've been through this before. RA did sign with Bradley because of JL, just as he has said, and just as the majority of recruits sign because of a coach. But it does not logically follow that he would automatically go to another school like UC Davis just because JL was no longer at Bradley. Especialy since at the time RA got released by BU and when he committed to Indiana, JL was not yet the coach at UC Davis.
I think in a lot of situations we need to realize that everything is fluid. There's a gray area. He probably chose because of the coach and the school, not just simply one or the other, and when one is removed, the other might not be enough to keep the recruit. There might be other situations that present themselves that end up being a better fit. No one really knows.
BTW -- Remy isn't just some guy who snubbed BU -- he is a guy that current head coach Geno Ford wanted. He went to Kentucky to try to recruit and convince him to come to BU.

Understand what your saying...I won't be watching any Ind games except when they play ILLINI.
Remy is gone and ... Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead!
I know some Spaniards who still want to be certain that the later is true!
