Is this the last fallout? The positive?

We have lost a high quality basketball player, and high character kid. Now Coach Ford will have to find a replacement, and I think few if any coaches would say the quality of available talent in April and May is anywhere near as good as it is in the preceeding summer and fall.
We are all on Coach Ford's side now, but replacing a recruit as good as Remy will be almost impossible.
Was RA a great prospect? Perhaps. Does his decision doom BU? Very doubtful.

What should we do now? It's over and done. Don't we have to move forward.
Coach Ford and Willie did their best to keep him. He chose to move on.

Wilkins has the talent and will be productive....but was still a gamble because of the two year layoff...
Remy will get offers from many majors who know his stock is very high...in fact, now that he's backed out of his Bradley commitment,
who wants to speculate on how high Remy will zoom up in the next National rankings and Rivals Top 150?

I don't like to compare recruits when they go to other schools...every situation is different. RA goes to a BCS and sits the bench or plays well doesn't mean that's how it would have been here. There are just way too many variables...coaching changes, team chemistry, style of play, etc, etc,

lefty -- whether you want to buy into it or not - Remy Abell is the highest rated and highest regarded recruit who has come to or signed with Bradley in at least a decade..
Some sites have him in the Top 150 and he is sure to rise now that he is back on the open market...
NOBODY knows how he'll turn out - but this isn't like losing Saihou Jassey or TCS -- this is losing a BCS-caliber player and -- as noted - perhaps the highest rated kid we've had since the 1990's

Nothing is guaranteed T...he didn't have any BCS schools other then Penn State...it sounds like he will now so that's the way it goes.
Just because he was the highest regarded recruit doesn't mean he was going to be great here either. You have posted many links to such recruits who have went elsewhere...
Hey...I'm sorry he's not coming but that's the way it goes......for all we know RA may be thinking he gets another shot for a quality BCS offer now

Then you must be slipping, with all the stuff you post about Crean and Indiana...IF he was actively recruiting Remy I would have thought you would have posted something about it before now

well Crean is only revealing this now -- but if you recall -- by late last SUMMER Remy decided he wanted to go to Bradley and saw it as a better option than Indiana and so he popped for BU...
Once JL left, then he definitely saw things differently and settled for his 2nd choice...
