Found this on youtube. Sorry if it's been mentioned before. I was impressed with JC. Hope you can cut and paste. I wasn't sure how to do it. Maybe you can just click on it.

Jalen Crawford is a 6'1 PG at Impact Prep in Las Vegas, NV. This is a highlight tape from the 2010-2011 Prep School season.

PJS.....Crawford commit and some new names...

PS...congrats on being Coach Fords 1st recruit!

here is a pic of Corbin Thomas...

Larry Nance Jr...looks like he was in competition with Max B on the last ride at Michigan...
Update: Make sure to check out our Q&A with Nance as well. We mentioned Max Bielfeldt as a possible 2011 target on Monday with the caveat that there might be another 2011 prospect in the mix as well. After a little digging over the last 24 hours, we’ve discovered another name on the radar: Larry […]

              James Farr...

On paper (or screen), neither was last year's lineup even without TB and SM.

Come on guys are you kidding me??? I wanted JL around for next year but come on. The best Coach Bradley has had in some time??? His best finish was 4th place in the MVC over nine years, give me a break. JC isnt as good as RA and others, how do you know? JC had better offers out of HS than RA, only time will tell but you dont have a clue right now. We wont be able to get a good Coach because of our Administration, I think they got a great Coach. GF has done a great job when given the chance to be a head Coach and was Coach of the year two years in a row. He took a team with 3 returning players last year and won the conference. I believe this was a great hire until he proves me otherwise.

Arizona, you are so far out there on your post that I have to hope you are kidding???

This part of your post does not appear to be entirely correct, mex.

Since Remy committed early, we don't know yet what kind of offers he would have gotten if he had waited until the end of his high school career, but I think we will soon see that he will get offers from multiple major, BCS-type schools.
On the other hand, Jalen did not have any offers when he finished high school at Oak Park HS in Detroit. His only offers all came since he has been at the Las Vegas Prep School.

Check out what Dave Reynolds says in his article-
                    http://www.pjstar.com/bradleyhoops/x...ks-for-release

Crawford, a Detroit native who paid his official visit to Bradley last weekend, played last season at Impact Academy, a prep school in Las Vegas. He had other offers from Xavier, TCU, Providence, Pepperdine and Northeastern...
Crawford’s offers have all come in the seven months he’s been in Las Vegas.

And one more point- it is difficult to compare "offers". When a kid reports "offers", they might be solid scholarship offers, or they might be contingency offers that ask the kid to wait to see which other kids commit or leave school, or whic include a redshirt year.

                      That's a matter of opinion.

Good work by Coach Geno Ford with getting Jalen to commit.
In losing Sean Harris and Remy Abell, we clearly lost the 2 most athletic recruits, and the current BU team already is not one of the more athletic teams in the MVC.
Plus, this team will need to add more athleticism by next year when there is a good chance Taylor Brown will be gone. Players like JC and Shayok Shayok will help, but in the next year it appears we need to add one or more reliable shooters, a rebounder, and more depth at point guard.

Of the names that have surfaced for the remaining 2 open scholarships, my preference would be to sign the juco power forward, Corbin Thomas, or a player like him.
Here is another thread with more info about Corbin Thomas.

Although there is some speculation in this post, there is a whole lot true, a lot of things that some people don't want to see, so they just say "let's move on."

BNC....tell me the parts that are true then.

Da Coach, I still say you have no way of knowing that RA is better than JC. The one thing I know for sure is that JC is coming to Bradley and that alone says all I need to know. Da Coach, do you believe its accurate to say that with JL's record and the fact that he finished no higher than 4th in the MVC in 9 years that he is one of the best Coaches Bradley has had???? I think he is a great guy, I think kids graduated, I think he had some bad luck with injuries, I think he should have gotten one more year, I think he should have been treated with respect, I would hope he could have turned the team around but to say he is one of the best Coached BU has had is crazy.

You know Da Coach that I wanted JL to get one more year but its over, done with. What value is there in people (BU fans) going on and on about JL and RA and SH and the Administration? I don't get it at all. We have a new Coach and if he ends up higher than 4th in the MVC then he would have to go down as the greatest Coach ever in the history of BU basketball, right?

I am a GF fan and a JC fan now because they are part of Bradley basketball.....bottom line.

Yep, opinion but - AW, DD, DSE, WE, JP, WL... Check out the lineups of is* red, Drake, SIU. Unfortunately for us and JL games are played on the court and not on paper. Lose to teams you should beat with the players you have on the floor and it will not end well for you. In my opinion that's the biggest reason a change was made. It's a tough business.

You're right, DC. We need a Corbin-Thomas-esque banger, as well as a pure outside shooter. I'm pleased that we have 2 freshman PG's who should develop into nice players. May be a bit of a trial next season, but next year might be a year to "grow" under a new head coach in a better league than where he's coming from.
