  • Coach Ford out recruiting

After hosting the couple recruits on the Bradley campus for a great visit this past weekend, Coach Ford has taken off to do some recruiting for these last 3 days of the Open Contact recruiting period. No word on where or whom he is visiting this week.
After his recruiting trip, Coach Ford will be back in Ohio for a few days over the Easter holiday, then return to Bradley next week.
There is a lot for him to do, even in this upcoming recruiting dead period.
In addition to the recruiting work, he will be completing his staff, scheduling meetings with some individuals, and groups, as well as overseeing the players' offseason workouts.

The next scheduled Braves Club event is the Braves Club Classic Golf Outing on June 7th.

He is ambitious to say the least.

There is no way that Coach Ford will settle for the 4-5 game in the Valley Tourney this year, though some of us here would be happy with it in a year of transition and having to climb up from a last place finish.

He's looking to contend THIS year - very aware that BU fans are restless, waiting for a Valley championship.

Coach Les gave me the impression that he was a very hard worker too. Couldn't have asked more effort-wise from him, and seemed to work tirelessly on the recruiting front.

Message to all other MVC Schools:

Pull over, the Ford in your rear view mirror is fast approaching!

I hope the MVC is on an upswing nationally with the post season success it had this year and the coaches in place for next year.
