I won't tell anyone else how to spend their money, but if you feel like you want to get behind something, I'd recommend donating to the Danny Dahlquist Memorial Scholarship Fund.
The Dahlquists are BU through-and-through and are some of the most genuine and thoughtful people you will ever meet.
They lost one of their children far too soon and this fund helps keep his spirit alive.
Many of us remember BU making that NCAA Tournament run in 2007, advancing to the Elite 8. No one will ever convince me that Danny didn't have a part in that. -

the people at Maryland still blame a few certain message board posters there for the loss -- stating that their claim the game was over and was already in the victory column when Maryland led 2-0 with just 2.5 minutes to go...

That game was unforgettable. After that first goal you could FEEL that the second goal was coming...you just knew it was.
Then in overtime we almost won it merely 30 seconds in when a 30 yard blast by Justin Bigelow hit the crossbar. At that point I knew we were going to win somehow.Comment
