The Sacramento Bee posted some pictures to commemorate the NBA history between the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Lakers. They play each other tomorrow night in the final regular season game for both teams.

Just going through some old magazines and came across the February 17th, 1986 issue of Sports Illustrated. Great story on the 23-1, at the time, Braves, titled "Oh, how they play in Peoria." Pictures of Jim and Coach Versace. One magazine I'll be saving.

Great article Chico- I remember when Jaime Diaz came to town to do the story- we were all on our p's and q's at practice!

I believe Jaime is now on the Golf Channel- or a Golf writer I believe

I remember the that year all to well. What a blast that season was. Now that is the type of team and season I'd love to see on the hilltop again.
