DePaul picks up top combo guard

This is the son of DePaul assistant Billy Garrett....
Billy Garrett, Jr. is a Class of 2013 kid who is blowing up...
he was getting Big East, ACC, and Pac-10 offers....and Illinois was close to offering...
One recruiting site has Garrett ranked inside the Top 60 nationally and he will likely rise with his recent play...

He is a 6-2 (still growing) PG/combo guard just finishing his sophomore season at Chicago Morgan Park -- and has been one of the hottest players already early in the AAU season (Mac irvin Fire) that's already underway...
he has now verballed to play at DePaul

DePaul is now oversigned by THREE -- so they have 16 players expected to return or arrive on campus in the fall..
They have nine returnees....and
six incoming freshman and a highly rated transfer from Miami

so between now and then at least three players will likely be leaving.
