He's been looking for a pay raise for years."But instead lets just hate while their MBB and WBB programs play blackjack against BU. Twenty-One in a row, seven by the Men & 14 by their women." ~NSBF

dont forget, its high school and the pension options probably had something to do with it, not sure but does PND teachers have a contract or are they "at will" employees? that alone is enough,Lets surrender ..... They get paid squat and work at will. Many teachers are retired from a local school district and just like teaching.

Any public school job is a pay increase over PND for any position. This is speculation, so take it for what its worth as one mans opinion, but I wouldnt be shocked to see Hank Mathews end up playing for his dad at limestone and the move not being just for basketball reasons either because Hank is one heck of a baseball player, well he was not sure if he is playing for PND now or if he is focusing on just basketball?
As a former player(not basketball)/student of Coach Mathews, I wish him the best!

Limestone is to the Mid Illini what PND is to the MS 6. Yes Limestone has had Thome, Dunne, Wikoff, Schwindenhammer, etc. but PND's baseball program in the 90s and early-mid 2000s was a pretty d@mn good program. But that was before your time 45, I would expect what you saw in your time at PND as a baseball program why you would think that though.
FWO, PM Me if you want my opinions on the current state of the baseball program....
