What a head case, does have great talent but has never been a great team player, if he gets drafted in the first 2 rounds I will be shocked.

I actually thought he was a fairly good team player on the court with a pretty good attitude too.....it seemed to me off the court attitudes were the problem

Does everyone else think this is as foolish as I think it is? At least POB received assurances he would be drafted high in the first round (and get guaranteed big money) before he hired an agent and made it impossible to return to college.
I can't believe anyone is telling Richmond he'll be drafted in the first round.
IMO, he will be lucky to be drafted at all.

Yes. Richmond is a moron and a cancer. A slightly bigger, more talented Alex Legion. I'm guessing the only people telling him he's a first rounder are his parents.

And maybe he really didn't have much of a choice...maybe his grades were bad or something...so he goes pro instead of transferring or changing for the better.

                Then he'll fit right in.

Meh. He can go play in the NBDL for a couple years.

The NBA draft only has 2 rounds.

So in case anyone doesn't know. We have been discussing this in a MegaThread on the illinois board.

                      1. He has said that he is not able to return to Illinois (i.e. Kicked out of school and off team)

                      2. He will be in Europe regretting his choices for the rest of his life.

                      3. Failed Drug Tests, Bad grades, skipping class, and fighting.

                      4. He is an *****.

EDIT: WOOWOWOW I JUST NOTICED MY AVATAR.

According to ESPN Richmond is being rated as a late 1st round to mid 2nd round pick. He certainly flashed some isolated plays that showed his potential but too often his attitude got in his way. Sounds like a perfect NBA player.

Despite his talent, Richmond is a cancer and as immature as it gets. They were talking about it on the SCORE this afternoon. Bernstein said his sources told him Richmond left the team on his own mid-season (not to attend to family matters as was announced), missed practices, was late for practices, quit going to class, and then punched a teammate. He flunked out of school so he could not go back to Illinois if he wanted to. If you were an NBA owner, would you give this guy millions of dollars?
