  • 1 week down - how's it going?

Just wanted to know if anyone knows what Coach Ford has done this past week.
Any news about getting close to new assistant coaches?
    Interaction with current players?
Working his way around campus to make his presence known to the students?

I'm hungry for news as to how the new era is beginning.
I know it's a long way until next fall, but there's still excitement in the air.

I understand he went back to Ohio to get ready for move to Peoria.. also understand he is reaching out to recruits...
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

From an article today from the RecordPub.com, a newspaper in Ravenna, Ohio (near Kent State)-
Ford was back in Kent on Friday to clean out his office at the M.A.C. Center. He returns to Bradley today to begin putting together his first staff with the Braves.

There can be no contact with recruits from March 31 - April 7th. It is considered a dead period in recruiting for college basketball.
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

You can call all you want, just no face-to-face.

Here is the NCAA website and the definition of "dead period" as well as other definitions-

Calls to prospective student athletes are allowed, and there does not appear to be any limit on how often.

Is there anything that could possibly point us to perhaps when to expect to hear about who's coming to BU? I mean, would something like this take place just right after the dead period?

I assume there's absoloutley no time table, and it's completely dependent on the recruit and their respected situation, however I figured it's worth a shot if it means knowing when we all can breathe again.

I have it from a good authority that Geno is very busy recruiting -- doing what can be done within the guidelines...
he is also working hard to fill his staff.........
