FGCU will hold press conference at 2PM (EDST) to announce new coach
For any fans who visited FGCU, it shouldn't be too hard to recruit there. It is a relatively new campus, with great facilities, and in one of the most beautiful parts of the entire country. They play in the Atlantic Sun conference, which is the only drawback, but there is a ton of talent in Florida high schools and jucos.

I second that - living in Ft. Myers area for 10+ years was really nice as far as weather & landscape.
Believe it or not, I'm much happier in the Chicago-area though.
Sunshine can only go so far. (no pun intended)
Among other things, sports in the Chicago-area, and Illinois, for that matter, are incomparable to what goes on in the Sunshine state.
You find many others in many regions in the midwest who share the same passion for the same team. Unless you live in a college town, there is not much passion/unity for the sports' teams in the state. The number of Cubs/Red Sox/Yankees fans far outnumber the fans of FL baseball teams...at least in south Florida.
Anyways, how did I get so far off-track?
Hoping my alma-mater does well with their new coach.
