      Therefore I am neutral.
I don't think he's going to be playing.

What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?

        Loving COACH Ford!!

This is the first HC transition in my lifetime @ BU. Quite satisfied!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

I was very satisfied with Stan Albeck even though I was pissed about DV being let go. Look how that turned out. I'm not saying the same thing will happen but only time will tell how good of a hire this was. I personally like this hire and believe he has the energy and drive to take BU back to where it belongs.

I also love the way he talks about running the O and D.

Andrew was not with the team in St. Louis, so do you (or anyone) know why? It was good to see him there today!

Here is how Kent State ranked in the MAC stats-

the only thing they appear to have excelled at is 3-point defense. Otherwise they were average to good in most other categories.
The one thing they excelled in is the most important category. WINS!!!!

I can't help but feel energized when we bring in a guy whose won his conference two years running. All the smoothness and charisma would mean little to me, but show me a guy with two conference titles under his belt and the Ancona Flash gets stoked!

Yes, I think we all agree that wins is slightly more important than most stat categories.

But to look at the stats, you wouldn't guess so easily that they would have been as dominant as they were in the MAC.

I'll agree with that, if you didn't have the school names by the stats it wouldn't be clear who won the conference. But a positive way to look at it is that they didn't have an area they were woefully deficient in. At worst they were average in a category or two, solid to real solid in the others.

Of everything I've read about him, what I like the most is that he adapts his attack to his players talents. I think that most good coaches can recruit to fit their systems, but the great ones take the talents they are given and utilize their specific skills within their system rather than trying to fit the square peg into the round hole. I also liked what the Ohio coach said about the "lovefest" between the coach and players. Those are the types of coaches you see guys run through walls for. Look at what Coach Tib's has done for Chicago with essentially the core of talent that Vinny had last year. He gets the absolute most out of every guy on that team. Hopefully GF will be able to do the same thing with BU next year.

The first bit of good news this week was getting Coach Ford.
The second bit would be news of DSE returning to play for the Braves.
The third bit would be news of DS and another of our recruits to stay commited.
For me, this comes in order of best news.

I would be even more excited heading into the off-season if all 3 bits of news come true.
Looking more and more like it just might!!
I think that GF can probably convince 1 of our remaining 3 recruits to stay on the path to Bradley. If Nate Wells decides to come on board, I like his chances to develop into something special.
