That's strange. I didn't think the contract was binding both ways. That is, if the employee chose to move on to a new job, then the employee just doesn't get the money anymore. Why make the employee pay the employer if he's not working there anymore? The employer can then just use the funds it saved with the dissolved contract by hiring a new guy.

A lot of schools/companies do this so the risk of leaving early via jumping ship or firing is a shared risk, not one-sided.

I guess we should let the situation play out, unless someone knows all of the terms of Geno's contract with KSU and with BU.

Some have jumped to conclusions before, lets not do it again.

Fun to read the KSU site, seems every school has fans who are quick to "hate" coaches - current or former, or even Presidents/Athletic Directors....

If BU used a big time coachnig search agency, and has as many talented people on their staff/consultants in legal matters, I am sure they knew exactly what is required, by whom, when, and how it should play out.

It's interesting to look at this post and recall memories from this time??¦ For the record, I want Bradley to succeed with GF. However, time is running short and the noose should be getting pretty tight about now??¦no pressure, no diamonds they say??¦ A few calculated and/or lucky pickups before next year can change the course of history. I can hope, right?
