I'm just going to come out and say that this board is testament to why Mid Majors are superior to Majors. If there were just majors left, none of those that had been knocked out would even care about the tournament, much less root for teams. For teams like BU, Butler, and Mid Majors, even if you miss the tournament, you'll pick up the tourney and root for the mid majors in ANY postseason tourney. You end up with a larger fanbase than the Majors. THAT'S why I'm perfectly happy with the MVC being a "Mid-Major" conference. They stick together.
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!
I like the "overrated" chant idea, but I also liked seeing the "We're Not In Kansas Anymore" signs some VCU fans are showing.
Reminiscent of the "Mr. Rodgers, this is not your neighborhood" signs that I saw @ the NFC Championship game!

41-27 VCU at the half! Self looks like he could chew nails as he was going off the court. I imagine it'll be a x-rated locker room chat for the Jayhakws.
I hate Kansas with a passion. Mostly because of their entitled whiny fans. Anything like this that makes them cry is music to my ears. Hopefully VCU has the energy to keep this up.
Anyone know how times any #1 seed has failed to reach the final four? Has there every been a time when no #1 seed made the elite 8?

There was no #1 in the Final Four in 2006 when Florida won the title. My research says the only other time that happened under the current seeding format was 1980.

Thanks! So we're looking at occurrence #3? Awesome.
Saw it while walking the tailgates, then again on the way out of the stadium. It's a wonder they didn't show it on TV.

Brilliant!! I'd buy it, but don't set it on white and figure out something for the back?
