it was not my intention to recap jl's entire career. i was making points to da coach's post about ford not making a ncaa post season...trying to compare each point succinctly. also, i have not stated my opinion on jl, just stated some of the facts of his career.

If Geno Ford's career equates to being a "great coach", then Jim Les must be a legendary great, since he has a lot more winning seasons, numerous seasons with much better RPIs and SOSs, and of course, much more postseason success than Ford has ever had.

when it comes to assessing JL's career, I have a different opinion. I will just leave at that because it won't do any good to get into it with you. That also leads to a differing opinion when looking at geno ford's past experience and whether that qualifies as a 'great coach'.

When Mike Cross said they were going to find a "great coach" he didn't provide an exact definition in his mind of what that means--we are all left to our own interpretations on that. I have mine. You have yours.

Yea, what's the deal with posters on message boards, not just this one, pointing out when someone is new as if their opinion is less valid? Kind of like they don't want other people on their playground.

though i'm a new member, i've been reading this site for a long time now. i've seen plenty of negative/bashing comments about bu admins on here but they have all been deleted--otherwise i would provide them to you.

Jim Les was fired, he's gone and not coming back. Continuing to bash him doesn't seem to be very productive. The administration is still here, making decisions every day. I don't see anything wrong with being critical of the administration if you disagree with some of what they are doing.
