Die hard Cubs fan here, no real influence to like them, I just started watching them when I was real young and got attached. They will win the WS eventually, just have to find the right talent scout.

I have a feeling that the Cubs are going to suck almighty this season though. The starting rotation is 1 of the worst I have seen in a long long time. Could be a very long season outside of Dempster and maybe Zambrano.

Funny cuz ESPN the magazine had their 2011 baseball preview and they actually ranked the Cubs rotation as the best in the NL Central. This is using a rotation with Dempster, Garza, Zambrano, Wells, and Silva who obviously isn't there anymore and it is Cashner instead. This is also taking into account that Wainwright is out for the season.

Baltimore Orioles fan here! I still have hope every April but usually by May, I come back to earth.

Grew up listening to the games on the radio and heading to Memorial stadium with my brothers and dad watching great Earl Weaver teams in the 70s. Now if only they could get a new owner.

Since I was 5 months from being born when the Brewers were last in the WS, I hope they can make it happen this year. Doug Melvin has sold his soul to the devil and given away the keys to the farm system to win this year, but I'm fine with it. I want to make the playoffs again this year. Three years ago, it was incredible when I went to one playoff game in Philly and one in Milwaukee with my dad. One of those memories you'll never take away from me...

Even if that were true (it's not), he is still markedly better in his 10 years than any player has ever been for the Cubs (or really, anyone). The only thing Pujols has not done is played the game for X years. He has has the best 10 year stretch of any player ever, and he's only played 10 years. So, yeah, I will enjoy watching my team and one of the greatest players to ever grace the field.

Pujols is one of the greatest hitters to play the game! I put him right behind Ted Williams. When I look at best players I also take fielding into that equation. Willie Mays has to be one of the all time greats.

I am not a Cardinals fan, but the stat I am going to post is one of my favorite stats of all time about Albert Pujols.

Albert Pujols, Stan Musial, Ted Williams, and Joe Dimaggio are the only players in MLB history to have a career batting average above .330 with less than 500 strikeouts at the time of their 300th home run!
