It sounds like the PJ Star is such poor financial position, I doubt they could even affor a lawyer to pursue such things.

"Premium contect" is everything other than breaking news, entertainment, the 2 most recent sports stories, and obits... just an FYI on what to possibly expect
      Yes....just as I posted earlier.....

Viewing that type of news will not register on your monthly meter. Other free content includes obituaries, photo galleries and video clips.

Pretty much everything else will be metered. This includes most staff-generated news, sports and features stories. Plus, our assorted blogs will be counted.

I'm not familiar with online video games, but Netflix allows me to have six different devices registered to my account and my account is allowed to watch three different titles at the same time.

            15 premium views?

There are barely 15 stories per month about basketball -- so, it seems like I can read all of the hoop stories (basically) and still not pay. Seems like a pretty high threshold?

I was initially pissed when I read this but if it's anything like most voting websites, you can just clear your cookies and vote again. Hoping that will clear the 15 story view count.

On a side note, I just tried the 20 views on the SJ-R. It brings up a green box saying I went over my 20 views and only asks if I want to sign up for the $6.95 a month or just continue reading. It let me continue on and read other stories when I selected to continue reading. Maybe this is just a test run as I know the PJStar said that Gatehouse wasn't going to start this until April 4th.

                No thanks!

I'd rather spend my money on the New York Times.
Sports Illustrated is pursuing a similar business model from print to digital where you pay a monthly or yearly all-access fee. Here is a video explaining what may be....
