    Impressive win by the Shockers.

I'm surprised they didn't just fold up the basketball program after 2007-08. After all, the Shockers went to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2005-06, then lost their coach, then bottomed out with an 11-20 record in 2007-08. But somehow they recovered .... absolutely amazing.

Complete meltdown of MVC averted. For the moment. It probably means more than it should, but an NIT title would be a godsend to the MVC at the moment. This league needs something to point to.

Not only that, but to see the fan turnout and intensity last night was also really encouraging. I watched a bit of the Missouri St/Miami FL game the other night, and saw just how pathetic the Miami crowd was. I don't think there were that many more people than showed up for our blizzard game against Creighton. Although they were loud, it goes to show you how much most major teams regard even the NIT, let alone the CBI! So great to see Shocker fans supporting the team like they have, even it's only for #69!
