But to get back to the Braves, they had some great players coming back and some great recruits as well. They are not this year's Cubs with mostly young players and a few washed up veterans. The Braves had some proven veterans coming back with perhaps a few immediate impact recruits that would have made Bradley a top 3 team at the very least.
Now you can agree with firing Les for his record the last 9 years. But that's not to say he would not have been able to coach BU to a top 3 finish next year, which looked highly likely assuming they stayed healthy.
