???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Originally posted by MacabreMob View PostGood point BB. It surprises me, but then again doesn't surprise me... that we are offering 700K... sounds like a lot, but sounds like something JG would be (encouraging Bradley to be) willing to throw at spring-boarding her career. And so if true - 700K should be enough to lure a quality candidate very soon.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report says Jeter met in Chicago with BU last Friday...then was put on hold...
he was apparently called and met again with "Bradley officials Tuesday in Chicago in what was a follow-up to a meeting they'd had Friday."
He goes into pretty significant detail as to what he used and how he made his decision-- and doesn't mention the money..
"I had a few conversations with the folks at Bradley and I decided that Milwaukee is a better place for me to be right now"
as for why Paul Lusk pulled out of the NIU job...the sports editor of the Ft. Wayne News-Sentinel says this...
Mizzou's Mike Anderson about to bolt to Arkansas
and rumor that Tennessee going to hire new guy fast - ex- NBA coach...hmmm...
