Arkansas fired their coach John Pelphrey and hired Mike Anderson.
But there is somewhat of a player mutiny. Shortly after Anderson was hired, Arkansas' point guard Jeff Peterson and forward Glenn Bryant asked for and were granted a release.
But Anderson is taking a hard line and now refusing to release last year's leading scorer Rotnei Clark-
There are rumors that other players wanted their release, but were told no. And now it is reported that at least 2 of Arkansas' highly regarded recruiting class that was recruited by Pelphrey, have asked for their release, and been denied.
Already Anderson is getting ripped for denying these kids' release-

He has lost his final year of eligibility due to a ruling by NCAA about playing a season of post-grad play in Australia..
In the US - a year of post-grad play would be considered high school/prep school, but the NCAA rules that in Australia it equals a year of college.

Former Bradley recruit Martin Breunig, a German import via St. John's Northwest Military Academy in Wisconsin, is on the move again. He initially committed to Maryland, which was way too high for the kid. Then he pulled out and went to University of Washington, where he rarely saw the court. He scored 1 point and averaged 0.1 point per game in the 9 games he appeared in last season.
