  • New Coach

I am watching the Butler vs Pit game. I don't care who our new Coach is as long as he can get our kids to play as hard and smart as Butler plays!!

We have had none of those qualities as of late...
Which is why we need to hire this guy........ Matthew Graves!

Sorry Braves4life, but if this guy is available to us, I want him as our next coach.

        Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I'd take either because they both come from great "systems" that groom assistants to get promoted and be successful. Plus, their programs just keep winning without missing a beat.

Hey, at this point I'll take either, especially given some of the names that have been thrown out there...

Stevens isn't leaving Butler anytime soon so why not make a run at Graves

Hey, he played in the Valley, knows the Valley style of play and is another branch of the Gene Keady coaching tree. And Purdue is a darn good team year in and year out.

He would be a great hire, but will Bradley be willing to shell out the dough to get this guy? I sure as heck hope so!

The end of the Butler Pit game may be one of the most amazing endings of a game I have ever watched. Talk about the game turning three times in 8 seconds. Amazing!!!!

I looked up the Lusk profile and saw he was from my wife's hometown. I asked if she new him, and she said "Do you mean the dad or the son?" I guess he was in the same grade as her sister. Small world sometimes. I guess they won the state title when he was in school.
