  • FGCU Coaching Search Info

Ah, the beauty of being a public university so the media can request phone and email records to cover the story. Well done by these reporters, in my opinion:

Remember what happened with Arkansas coach Houston Nutt a couple of years back when someone filed a freedom of information request?

OMG, U see the message boarder who tried 2 get Houston Nutt fired @ Ark? Witw was he thinking?

KK is not stupid -- he knows his e mails and phone records can be made public...and if all the info were made known -- you'd see he's talked with gobs of people about hiring a new head coach -- since that's his job..
he's even talked to people here in Peoria...but it doesn't mean he's going to hire them -- maybe he's just asking about other people...etc..

That shows the absolute stupidity of those reporters...they blindly conclude that just since KK talked with Jan van Breda Kolff -- that means he's in the running to be the next coach...

..hmmm..maybe he just called to wish him happy birthday...

Speaking more generally, I just wish as a whole people here would be more positive. Some of us are now in week two of Everything Sucks mode. This is the positive board, remember?

As a former journalist, I actually find the FGCU reporting to be good work. That's what good reporters do: use everything at their disposal to find information.
