And clearly KK and JL would steer people away because of the interference.
There obviously is no love lost between JL/KK and Glasser, but I don't think they would steer anyone away from the university. They both love(d) it to much to do that.

Uh this is one of JLs buddies....
How do you think JL got that Comcast gig in the first place...
Nothing worse than a guy who knows squat about something airing it in front of a wide audience...that and all of hid coaching interest information was from somebody's blog!

Haha, he clearly knows something, he's spot-on with the favorite, and about anyone who knows the workings of the administration would agree with what he said. SRW is right, it's something MC and JG are now going to have to live with. Run off 2 (3) respected people in unfavorable fashion and words going to get out. It doesn't mean they can't be successful, but they are making it harder on themselves.

I think you are wrong on this one...
Example, if my daughter was a hoopster, I would send her to a place where there is a basketball tradition.
I don't think its wrong for KK and JL to warn people of their opinions..
Just like I don't think its wrong for MC and JG to point out reasons why they made the decisions they did

Word is starting to get out about JG and that is a good thing for Bradley! So my question is, why is the PJS asleep at their post when it comes to this situation? Oh wait... I already have a very good idea!
Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
Who cares why any outlet knows anything? Everyone has sources. I do, you do, KW does, Kaplan does......
Sometimes the info is good, sometimes it is bad.
Move on...the official announcement is very close.
Because for the betterment of BU, the story needs to get out locally!

As JD said, what "story"? So because David Kaplan has an opinion about BU upper administration it becomes a "story"?
So the President likes to be involved in a lot and has control issues. Umm, well, yeah, how do you think they get to where they are in the first place? You don't think head DI men's basketball coaches have control issues?
did anyone see what Dave Reynolds had today as an update...
talk about Isiah Thomas, Mark Montgomery...
and this comment... "Thomas surprised the hoops world by accepting the head coaching job at Florida International..
He reportedly flirted with the DePaul opening last spring when it opened, but nothing came of it.
The nearly 50-year-old Thomas??™ link to Bradley would be his Chicago roots and BU interim coach Willie Scott,
who would certainly stay on staff in the Thomas-as-coach scenario. The pair grew up together and played on the same AAU team in high school.
???If Isiah wants to come back to Chicago, where he would have a good recruiting base, this would be a great place to come...
???This is a fantastic job ??” the second-best coaching job in the state with the community, the support and now the facilities.???
