I feel like Matt Painter did one of the better coaching jobs in college basketball this season but losing guys right before the tourney is going to be tough to overcome.

Wow - Purdue fans must be bummed...could be battling the Hoosiers for last place??

Hummel lost for two seasons..and hard pressed to ever be as good as he once was..
      Players with failed drug tests...
They lose their TWO best players Moore & Johnson to graduation
They really don't have blockbuster recruiting classes...and there have been reports of incoming recruits not qualifying or being injured

..and now they are on the verge of losing their coach......

        add this to Purdue's woes....

The Associate A.D. Nancy Cross sent out a letter putting some blame on the boosters....

I guess they should have ponied up the $$$$$$$$$$ sooner!

Wow, that is amazing that Purdue's "Sr. Associate Athletics Director for Development and Sports" would rip their own boosters publically, and in print like that. That is an embarrassing, and disgraceful act like I have never seen before by someone in her position, regardless of the reason.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you!

but in the same sense they are clearly acknowledging that those top boosters are also responsible for all they have including their head coach...
