Not that I would count anything they say on The Score 670 as important, but I heard comments this morning about the CBI College Insider etc.

It is a problem Bradley was beginning to be identified with.

On the sports news portion they were talking NIT and someone asked is there a third tournament this year? The news guy had to say "the CBI ir whatever? The tournament for Bradley"

The other guy, I think it was Dan Mcneil said he had never heard of it before. I know it isn't an important tourney, but you would think a sportscaster may have an idea what it is.

Anyway, I don't like the perception of the tournament for Bradley.I suppose it would have been better than the alternative we went through.

Matt Spiegel is McNeil's sidekick, so he probably was familiar enough with Bradley's participation in it that he knew which tournament it was. Heck, he could even be a Bradley grad for all I know, but yeah, when we haven't had great teams the last few years, that's the tournaments we get. And again, those were fun to watch and like you said LC, would be better than just sitting at home like we are now.

And yes, the news person should know these tourneys a little better, but when they are rarely reported on unless a local team is participating in one, not many really pay attention to them outside of the fans of the teams participating in them. Heck, the Score and ESPN 1000 don't even give the Bradley scores all the time, so why should this be surprising?!
