Back to Sacramento to help Coach Corn and watch Tyler's college career. Then probably an NBA front office job.

Most likely scenerio IMO too...he has made a a LOT of money here the past 9 years (plus his hefty buyout)...so he can just kick back in California if he wants and enjoy himself now and work part time with no pressure.

Hey I don't pretend to be in the know, but if the rumors of his wife being out in California looking at homes is any indication wouldn't shock me one bit to see him watch his son play college basketball the next few years and just collect his paycheck. After all, college days past swiftly and his old stomping grounds in Sac-Town are a stones toss away from the UC Davis campus.

Take the BU money, watch your son play, and like others have suggested maybe do some scouting for Sacramento on the side.

Too bad Sacramento may not have an NBA team much longer, the owners want to move the team to Vegas.

Like people said, who knows if he even wants to coach again. That is a very stressful position and does he want to deal with it again? I think Jim would be perfect in a director of basketball operations position or something of the like.

Les and three other assistant coaches were sitting behind me at Double A's last Thursday so he's still in the area.

I wonder if NIU or Loyola would be interested in his services. The guy knows how to recruit the chicagoland area and that is exactly what those teams need.

Actually I read last week that it was a fairly done deal that the Kings were moving to Anaheim. Kind of a dumb move considering the Lakers & Clippers were just 30 miles or say West of them. Not enough of a fan base as their would be in Vegas.

Professional sports in Vegas? Please, what commissioner would open himself to that scrutiny. Anaheim and LA might as well be in different time zones. It is faster for me to fly to LAX or SNA then it would be for someone to drive from Staples to anywhere in Orange. Orange county is a very diverse and wealthy county in its own right.
