  • Northwestern taking Ohio State to OT

OSU up 4 -- looks like Northwestern running out of breaks..
refs letting Sullinger foul all he wants...yet putting him on the FT line whenever anyone breathes on him..

Ohio State wins by 6 in OT over Northwestern - Wildcats probably bought an NIT bid with this close loss

    UNC barely escapes Miami

rootin for U of I, I've been calling Michigan my sleeper team in the dance for a while now. Lunardi had them at an 11 before today.

and....that Zack Novak can really shoot, can't he..

Illinois down 3 with a minute to go -- some people think Illinois still needs to win this one to be sure they are in the field...same goes for Michigan

Illini lose 60-55, does Michigan punch its dance ticket?
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

Michigan beats Illinois - Illini fans sound confident they're in NCAA regardless...but u never know...

It doesn't matter really....they can't string two good games together anyway

Don't go to Illinois, Sammy! Do you really want to be part of an overrated program???

With the slew of seniors leaving for U of I next season, Illini will likely be no better than this season, with a better possibility of NOT making the Big Dance, considering the holes they need to fill, especially in the front court. I would venture to say that if TB returns, our frontcourt looks just as strong as U of I. And our backcourt with Sammy would be just as good as the backcourt of U of I without Sammy. Their guards have a lot of growing to do. DSE's slump this year was nothing compared to how their young guards have struggled this season.

Just wait it out and see who the new coach is, and really weigh if it's really going to give you a much better shot at U of I to be on a successful team.

Hoping he sees BU's potential next season.
Remy and Sammy at BU couldn't make me happier!!!

Let's see, the Illini dropped 10 of their last 16, including a quarterfinal loss in the conference tournament. They'll probably get in because they're so much more worthy than some other conference regular season champions . . . . but I'd like to know ANY other team that stumbled to the finish line like that and got their ticket punched.

I don't think I'd be so confident, but then what do I know about resumes....

They were just as confident last season...and they made it farther in the B-10 tournament. Michigan is overrated, and I imagine they lose by 15-20 to OSU tomorrow.
Bad loss for U of I, as they haven't beaten anyone good for a long time now.

Sam hasn't left yet and still needs to finish up the hours he has this semester in order to be a grad student...
A great pick for HC and if done quickly can still have a chance...

Don't think the selection committtee worries about what "fans" think.
